COLLECTION: blad & lian [leaves & vines]

This collection is an example of how starting with a simple shape and/or line can produce a plethora of patterns, both representational and abstract. These leaves and vines are actually the same shapes used in birds on a wire, here used to create representational foliage and grains in a pattern-stripe, and as abstractions of vegetation ground cover and flowers. Color inspirations range from natural, to opulent Art Deco, and muted contrasts.
